Flexible fuel tanks are used in modern military applications for liquid storage and transportation as a more effective and safe means of fuel containment. Their most widespread use, in place of integral or metal tanks, is in military aircraft and armour fighting vehicles. Due to improved materials engineering and production techniques, these fuel tanks are lighter than the rigid tank structures they aim to replace. Coupled with the simple and quick repair process of a damaged tank, these tanks have become the fuel storage method of choice for air, land and sea combat equipment designers as well as civilian aircraft design engineers.

Additional benefits of our rubber bladder fuel tanks include shock resistance, immunity against distortion, cracking, piercing and denting, fire retardant, maximum space usage, ease of installation and long lifespan. They are also available with a self-sealing coating protecting against 7.62, 12.7 (.50 cal.) and 20mm bullets.
