Since 1979 Aztec has specialised in the design and manufacture oil-cooled transformers and minisubs which offer exceptional performance and reliability. They are ideally suited to the harsh environments in which they operate – especially deep underground.

Aztec’s oil-cooled transformers and minisubs are all naturally cooled (ONAN) requiring no forced air or oil cooling and minimal maintenance. Aztec’s ONAN transformers and minisub enclosures have been carefully designed to protect against water, moisture and dust as well as against physical damage.

All of our oil-cooled transformers and minisubs are designed and manufactured in South Africa in accordance with SANS 780.
